The story of Shahmaran...
She is an Anatolian (Kurdish) mythical Goddess. She is the ‘creature’ that needs her story told. Her spirit passes on from one generation to the next. The image of Shahmaran to your right is a study in watercolour by Güler on how she might look now. “The job of the artist is always to deepen the mystery.” (Francis Bacon) |

The Micro and Macro story...
When I was a teenager, I was told of a story that had a big impact on the way I thought. It goes something like this... When you have an eagle view about things you get to see the whole story but it is also important to get the specifics view of a situation like a chicken. A chicken only sees it's food in front of it. Whereas, an eagle sees what's out further. There will be times when you have the eagle view, then the chicken view but there also may be occasions where you combine the two views in life. |
